You stepped up as the ultimate “digital hosts” and made it possible for the visitors to soak up the tournament’s electric energy both inside the stadium gates and out in the local neighborhoods.
Whether it’s about helping fans find fun things to do in the city or highlighting the best local spots for team-specific watch parties, we loved seeing the detailed and insightful lists you created. The personalized, thoughtful notes you added to each location are exactly what make Google Maps feel so alive and helpful for someone exploring a new city.
We followed through a thorough selection process to find the most standout lists for this challenge. First, we made sure submissions checked our essential boxes: being set to public, featuring at least five spots, and packing plenty of detailed tips. From there, the Google Maps Product and Engineering teams carefully shortlisted the entries that offered the most value to fans. This collaborative review ensured that the most authentic and practical contributions were chosen to represent the spirit of the game.
