Celebrating international women's Day 2019

Happy International Women’s Day
The International Women’s Day 2019 campaign theme of #BalanceforBetter is a call-to-action for driving gender balance across the world. How will you help make a difference?
Right now is a great and important time in history to do everything possible to help forge a more gender-balanced world. Women have come a long way, yet there’s still more to be achieved. From grassroots activism to worldwide action, we are entering an exciting period of history where the world expects balance. We notice its absence and celebrate its presence. We are celebrating some of our women from Nigeria Local Guides community and all the women around the world.

I love so many things about been a local guide .Adding reviews and pictures upload is mostly my likes and passion as been a local guide, I full to the top when ever I found my self handling camera and taking pictures. And as for their programs and conferences, really nice and interesting, though have not been opinion to attend any of the connect live, but their makes things easier to extent that those who didn’t attend can equally see and watch to their satisfaction, through the help of Videos uploads and others. Ever since I join local guide in my community, Awka , I have derived joy in taking pictures of places, adding Reviews to places I have visit and adding missing places on Map etc. Google local guide is really good and awesome, and am happy and proudly level 7 Awka local guides .

What I like about the program: the program gives me the opportunity to enrich my town, cities and countries Since it’s a voluntary service which I enjoy doing, I feel fulfilled that I am able to help millions of people. Notwithstanding, I have taught many people through initiating the Awka local guides forum. I love the program because it makes me meet people by interacting with them and exploring their cultural values and ideas. There is nothing as powerful as knowledge which the local guides has provided. Lastly, the program gives me the opportunity to share ideas, creative ideas which I so much love. Everything about the local guides program is what an Italian man will call ‘Perfecto’ I love being a local guides.
