If this is a rule, you must provide evidence—otherwise, stop this action immediately. What you find appropriate may cause significant discomfort to others. Everyone has their own experiences, culture, and way of thinking. Do not impose your perspective on others unless there is an official regulation.

I wanted to step in and say that our Connect Moderators act in accordance with our Connect community guidelines. According to these guidelines, Local Guides should:
Merging posts allows us to keep Connect organized and on topic. Your two posts that @TusharSuradkar merged to this current thread (this one and this one) do not follow our category guidelines as there is no clear connection to your Local Guides experiences, Google Maps, an introduction to a local celebration, or similar.
However, instead of removing your posts, Tushar decided to merge them to our running Sunrise and sunset thread. We periodically update this thread and feature some of the great photos that have been shared in the comments section. This means that even if your photo has been merged, there’s still a chance it could get featured!
