Local Guides often share beautiful photos of sunsets and sunrises in different parts of the world, both on Connect and Google Maps. Whether they were out on a walk and simply captured the magic of a golden hour or went on a hunt for the perfect sunrise, their contributions on Google Maps guide others to amazing places.

To showcase your great photography, we decided to start a new thread. Share your best sunset or sunrise photo contributions from Google Maps below, together with a link to the location. Let’s create a global gallery with helpful tips!

Thanks dear Modretor @DeniGu for fantastic topic, I hunt these sunrise pic. During our winter days long drive in upper Ganga canal Road in between Ghaziabad - meerut highway.

Well done @Tofazzal_Polash , @mr-ihsan , @ONURCETIN , @Sophia_Cambodia and @Stphn on having your beautiful snaps featured. I also love the others shared and in particular that shared by @AjitThite of him and his wife at Ashvem Beach, Goa, both captivating and romantic.

Everyone loves a beautiful sunset but often it’s not possible to add sunset snaps to Maps as the place is not a POI on Maps. In my example shown here Sunset Key is shown on Maps under the category of Island and so adding reviews (see my review here) as well as photos and videos is possible.

This photo was taken at Bet Dwaraka. Our trip was the last trip to the temple, that while returning back it was sunset time.

Sunrise and Sunrise is always amazing @DeniGu I too have many pictures. This I took yesterday evening, in Sweden. The pink cloud in the background was awesome. Hope you too will love this picture.
