Anyone else added on Captions and have been shown like my example below( I will be receiving 10 points for adding a caption) the photo is the normal 5 points .
I checked my contributions and received only 1 point not 10
I waited a few days tested again and again still 1 point.
Have I missed something or it is final we get 1 point and not 10 
@DshottDennis just want to confirm, are you saying that while the splash page says you’re getting 10 points for captions, you’re only credited 1 point in total points?

For Captions you get 10 points in addition to the points for Photo/Video you add through ‘Updates by visitors’ tab for a specific POI. While you get 10 points for writing one caption, it gets counted as '1’ under Captions in your Map profile dasboard under ‘Number of contributions’.
So, in the example given in your post, 15 points will be added to your total points and ‘1’ is added to the Captions count.

I think I have worked it out
We receive 1 point for the caption
and the rest as points not the full 10 under the caption banner

I have been noticing this for many months now - Even after writing a caption for a photo and after 7 days of adding a Caption - I am not getting the points for Caption, neither is the count showing in my profile.
Example: 1 week ago I added this caption, which I am able to see my Maps photos too.
But I did not get any points for this Caption, and the count still shows as Zero.
Can someone please help me on this.
Is there a minimum characters count required to get the Caption point ?
