Unfortunately there’s no way to contact your followers directly. The Private Message system that works on Connect, does not work directly on your Followers list. Also consider it might not be a good idea, as some people might see it as harrassment by an internet stranger.

Time by time it happens to me to casually meet some of my followers.
Mostly it happens when a follower is from my area. Recently one recognised me, because my photo is on my profile, but this is not very common because, as mentioned by @PaulPavlinovich on his reply to you last year
