I remember this has been reported before. One user figured out that if he duplicated the latest photo in his camera roll (on his iPhone) then one of the two would show up in Maps. I think this issue has been escalated. Am I correct on this, @DeniGu ?
When you say that “related photos/videos are not shown”, do you mean that similar/duplicate photos and videos don’t appear on the list, or just any photos/videos that are related to the place you want to upload them to?
From where are you trying to upload media: from the Explore tab in Maps, from Contribute > Add photos, from the place’s page on Maps, or directly from your Gallery app?
Are your Location Services on?
What’s the version of your Google Maps app?

While the earlier issue has been escalated, @L-coco mentioned that they’d been unable to see all related photos/videos for years, so I wanted to check if it’s a different case. The report from January said that the issue had started recently, in October/November 2023.

We received confirmation from the team that this issue should be fixed now. Can you please check and let me know if everything works as it should on your end? You might need to update your Google Maps app.
