Hi, I am facing a problem for few days. I cannot add place to lists from Maps app. It just keeps loading and nothing comes after. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled but still happening this. To check it if the issue is only for me or for all I have let my brother logged in to my phone and the feature was working just fine.
Could you please guide why this is not working for me? For me saving places to lists is a very impoirtant feature. So any help would be appreciated.

I just tested to see if the problem is at my end too. Nope. I saved a place to my testlist without any problems. It might be a transient problem.
@MortenCopenhagen Thank you for testing and sharing here. It’s been a while since I have encountered the problem. But I thought it might be a transient problem. But still this has not changed. 
In my side also there is no problem, I think this issue is related to the recent changes on “save place” interface.
Did you try again by clearing the cache and data? It might help.

Hi @SaifIS this might be a network connection problem, please check if you have good network signal, or it might happen that you were on the road while doing that, or mountainous areas.
@Raphael-Mahumane I have checked in both mobile network and wifi. I also used a VPN to check.

Thank you for reaching out, I would like to let you know that this is a known issue and the team is working to resolve it quickly. You can still add your places from desktop PC as it doesn’t impact it.
Update: The issue has been solved. @SaifIS can you please test it and confirm?

For me it’s also the same not working behavior. Tried also to clear the cache, clear data, Uninstall the app. Only when I just keep the phone base version (phone was shipped with a very old Google maps app) then it works.
So looking forward when it’s fixed. Without lists and favorites Google maps is not really fun on the mobile.

With the update today from Google Maps the list feature is working again. At least for me. So there is hope for the rest of you whom also experienced the problem… Looks good that it will be solved
