passeggiata molto interessante, peccato che sia durante il weekend del meetup Lucca altrimenti ci avrei fatto un pensierino :kissing_smiling_eyes: .

Great photos @JaneBurunina !

The first one is San Michele bridge, undoubtedly the most beautiful bridge in Vicenza, the only one with an exclusively pedestrian passage. Inspired by the Rialto Bridge in Venice, it can be admired in all its beauty from Ponte San Paolo, not far away (right where you took the picture!)

It does not lose its charm even at night:

The second one is Delle Barche (or Romano) bridge : this name derives from the fact that nearby was the port where the boats (barche) unloaded the goods transported by river, later finding shelter for the night. One of the bridges that best preserves its constructive originality.

This is the view from the opposite side of your photo:

For your exclusive  here you can find the list of Bridges of Vicenza published in Maps : Walk among the bridges of Vicenza

Thanks so much for your contribution Jane!

Have a good day,

David
