Can the Meetup Participant List Be Easier to See?

I recently learned something new about the meetup feature on Local Guides Connect.

For my upcoming Cambodia virtual meetup, I saw only a few participant profile photos shown on the meetup page. Some people from Cambodia told me that they had already clicked Yes to join, but I could not see their profiles there.

At first, I thought maybe their registration did not work.

People clicked “Going – Yes,” but I cannot see them in the attendee list

Then @SharmaK told me that I can click the three-dot menu and choose Show participants.

After I opened it, I could see many more people who had already joined.

I did not know about this feature before.

Maybe other meetup hosts also do not notice it, because the participant list is hidden inside the menu.

I think it would be helpful if Local Guides Connect could make this easier to see.

For example:

  • Show a clear “See all participants” button near the participant photos
  • Show the total number of people going
  • Make the participant list easier for meetup hosts to find
  • Maybe allow clicking directly on the small participant photos to open the full list

For meetup hosts, knowing who is joining is very useful. It helps us prepare the session, understand the number of participants, and also know if new Local Guides are joining for the first time.

I am happy that I found this feature now, but I hope it can become more visible in the future.

Did you already know about Show participants?

Or did you also discover it only later like me? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Thank you again @SharmaK for telling me about this feature.

Namaste Sir,Where are the Yes and No options to join the meeting?

Hi @ANUPAMSINGH, please open the meetup post itself. Near the top of the post, you should see the Going option—click it and choose Yes to join (or No if you cannot attend).

After selecting Yes, your profile will be added to the participant list. The host can view the full list through the three-dot menu → Show participants.

Yes, I agree that a lot of useful features are buried inside deeper options @SophatCHY

These should be kept more accessible.

I usually send these requests using the Connect feedback form.
