My Matterport camera has the option to sync/share the 360 images to google street view… they come over to street view in a nice high quality/resolution. I’m wondering if these 360 images can be downloaded from Google Street View. Thanks for any ideas!

Hi @Monday147am it looks like you can do it via Google Takeout https://takeout.google.com/settings/takeout?pli=1
Just select only street view. That will get everything though which may not be what you want. If you try it and it works can you please let me know so I can help the next person.

Paul; that worked perfectly! I don’t have much data in there yet so it was only 639mb. This is workable now but don’t think it would work if it was 2TB. There must be a way to download individual images with some other trick/hack/plugin. Thanks for any ideas!
If I find a way I’ll report back with the answer

Paul; the 360 images I downloaded from Takeout showed up properly ast 360 images on facebook; however when I upload them to the “360” tab on Google My Business profiles they are not recognized as 360 images. Instead they just show up on the normal photos view and appear all distorted. Do you know what the trick is to upload these and show up properly? Thanks for any ideas!
They have to be uploaded using the Street View App or they will be converted into flat images @Monday147am
Just a note that this forum is for Local Guides. You should not be using this functionality as a business. You need to work with Google My Business https://business.google.com/

Paul; thanks for that reply… it turns out that the photos did end up showing as 360 images; I just had to wait more than a few minutes.
