Hi everyone!
In April my car broke down and was towed to a local garage. I chose this garage because of its good Google reviews. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst service I have ever experienced. Six months later, my car is still at the garage and still not repaired.
I wanted to write an honest review so other people can make an informed decision, but Google won’t publish it. I get this message:
“What happened
In this case, there wasn’t necessarily an issue with your content. Your content couldn’t be published because of posting restrictions that Google has for this place. When this happens, some types of posting are restricted. These restrictions help keep Maps safe and reliable for everyone.”
There was no information what is wrong with my post and there was also few useless links. As a test, a friend of mine posted a 5-star review of the same place, and it was published immediately. What a shame.
I also tried to edit the review with calmer and shorter version but it is still failing.
then I tired the contact google support via some form regarding Local Guide Appeal, but I just received mail with:
“Thank you for contacting Google support. Based on the information provided, we are happy to confirm that there are no feature access restrictions impacting your account at this time.”
As a test, a friend of mine posted a 5-star review of the same place, and it was published immediately, what a shame…
Here is my review:
My car was towed here on April 12. Communication was difficult from the start. They often didn’t answer the phone or reply to messages. The repair took longer than expected, and I finally picked the car up two months later, on June 12. I thought, okay, these things happen. They replaced both the clutch and the gearbox. They told me to drive carefully and come back for a check-up after 1,000 km, since it would take a while for everything to settle in.
I drove more than 1,000 km, but the car never drove properly, and I kept hearing a grinding noise when shifting between two of the gears. At the check-up, it turned out the clutch hadn’t been installed correctly. They also found that the entire underbody was covered in oil leaking from the gearbox they had installed.
I brought the car back for a warranty repair on July 30, and it is still not fixed.
They told me it would take two weeks: they would send the gearbox back and replace it with a new one. That never happened. Since July, all I’ve heard are excuses, such as that they’re sending emails or that they’re on vacation.
A few weeks in, I checked the car’s GPS tracker and saw it driving on the highway. I thought great, it must be fixed, and waited for them to contact me. They didn’t. When I wrote to them, they stopped replying and stopped answering my calls. They responded only after I wrote that I would contact the police, and their reply was that they were on vacation. When I asked why my car had been on the highway, they didn’t answer. When I finally reached them by phone, they claimed they needed video footage of the car while driving. That makes no sense to me. They already took pictures of leaking oil when I came to check.
Since April, my car has spent most of the last six months at this garage, and it’s still not repaired.
Their behavior throughout has been completely unprofessional and unacceptable. The quality of their work is also very poor. An incorrectly installed clutch and a gearbox leaking oil speak for themselves.
If you enjoy listening to excuses and paying for expensive parking, go ahead. But if you want your car actually repaired and back on the road, go somewhere else.
Can anyone help me here?
