I am a traveler and visit various places at regular time interval. I have a doubt. During my trip, I click photos and selfies, make videos. At the time of uploading photos, can I upload selfies too? I have heard from many LGs that uploading selfie should be avoided. Is it true? I am curious to know the answers with logic.

Contributions to Google Maps should accurately represent the location in question (https://support.google.com/contributionpolicy/answer/7400114) so generally I personally avoid avoid to contribute in Google Maps with selfies and, for privacy concern, with photos of people

In My opinion we can’t Uploading Personal Photos on google maps!

Adding a photo of a business we inform the users about how a business is @nitinsingh_lg . Doing this we can help others, offering informations about the place, the food or the products. Uploading a photo taken by us we already show that we was there.
When you make a search in Google Maps, do you really find helpfull a selfie taken by others?

You should refrain from doing this. Many people will leave a negative review for your help. We aren’t interested in your face, but only a photo of the place. After all, you send pictures so others can better navigate unfamiliar places. It will be appropriate to insert your selfies only if you write a long text post to your personal travel blog in which you describe your adventures. I have a blog, and there I attach my photos. Recently, I even started to take the literacy of texts more seriously, so I use all sorts of writing tools like https://www.reddit.com/r/collegehub/comments/wfcbn9/best_essay_writing_service_reddit_20222024/.
