But you can earn is friends by meetups , confidence when go and talk and adding their business in google maps, you will feel happy by providing valuable information of the places that which helps millions are people , exploring new places !

As the other good people @gowthamselvam and @AngieYC have answered here you cannot make money by being a Local Guide, but you can if you have an interest and skills in 360 photography become a Street View trusted photographer which you can earn a living from if you’re willing to work at it. You can find out more at https://www.google.com/streetview/earn/
There are many SVtp who are also Local Guides but you need to be very careful to manage the ethics and never confuse the business and volunteer sides.

As everyone mentioned earlier, there is no money profite from being a Local Guide. However, sometimes, there are perks available and it will vary from time to time and from region to region. It depends on who the Google partners are. There may also be special and/or early access to Google features. You can read more about it on the official support page found here
