Las direcciones web de los sitios resultan muy útiles en ocasiones para ampliar información.
Muchas veces esos sitios no tienen nada que ver con lo que se está viendo, pero reconozco que es algo que he dado por imposible de cambiar.
Desconozco cual es el mecanismo seguido por Google Maps para acceder a esta información. Voy a presentar un caso como ejemplo:
Se trata de una placa conmemorativa en la ciudad de Venecia.
Lapide Commerotavia 7 Martiri.
Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, 1643, 30122 Venezia VE, Italia
Sitios web que aparecen en la información:
No tienen absolutamente nada que ver cono el sitio.
He indicado varias alternativas. Todas ellas son inmediatamente No aceptados, ni dos segundos.

Aparte de eso, la información es absolutamente errónea, pero soy incapaz de cambiarlo.
No se trata de un museo, sólo es una placa conmemorativa.
Mis preguntas son fáciles:

Cuántos intentos son necesarios para que la información sea aceptada?

Kindly consider always including MAPS links to the places when you post on Connect.
Are you asking how to change the category and the website on the listing or the extra web search results shown only on desktop computers?

It is indeed the websites that appear in the additional information on the desktops, but also the website associated with the site or building. For example, in the case I am explaining there is no associated website, the alternatives I give are automatically rejected.

It would also be very helpful if you would use the tagging tool when replying to someone here on Connect. Type @ followed by the username. Type slowly. Then we get an e-mail notification and you are more likely to get a prompt reply. Just hitting Reply does not ensure we get notified by email.

When a user repeatedly tries to change the website in a pin, the spam filter will keep rejecting your suggestion.
I see that the place is not claimed, which makes it easier to get edits approved.
What would the correct category be and which is the correct web site or should the current web address just be removed?

Thanks for your guidance.
The place is listed on google as a local history museum (Museo de historia local). It is just a plaque on the facade of a residential building. I understand that it should be in the category of Place of historical interest (Lugar de interés histórico), place of memory (Espacio de memoria) or memorial (monumento conmemorativo).
As for the websites where they explain correctly the content of the site, the ones I indicated in the first post I think would be useful, so I don’t understand how Google Maps doesn’t recognize them directly:

Wikipedia pages are likely not considered a trusted source.
So the category is wrong. Unfortunately we don’t have a list explaining the categories. To me Memorial is something bigger and more important and well known than a plaquette.
So personally I would not add such a place to Google Maps.
I don’t think it is worth trying to add th Wikipedia link again - it will most likely not get approved.
I think that the relative low importance of the place can explain why odd search results are shown next to the place on Google Maps. These are generated automatically and can not be edited.
I will try fixing the category and report back if successful.
