Just wanted to let you know I enlarged your photo to be able to see it better. :slightly_smiling_face: Wow that is crazy how much dust there is. Is that typical for the area? I’ve never experienced anything like that so far.

How long does it stay over the city? I’m sure it’s probably really tough to see and breathe.

Yes the calima is happen to be very normal in the Canary Islands due to the trade winds coming from the Sahara desert therefore the heavy dust.

It’s also called dry dust so sometimes is heavy to breath and everything is covered up with yellow dust from the desert. Also brings warm temperatures and humidity.
