It’s been couple of months since I was able to shoot landscapes because of shelter in place orders. Things are slowly opening up. Decided to head to the beach in Halfmoon Bay, CA to capture Sunset.
This is really nice quite beach and trail right next to Ritz Carlton Hotel, in Halfmoon Bay. Fortunately beach was not very crowded, folks were practicing social distancing. There were few small groups and couple of photographers on the beach.
Here is the famous Ritz Carlton Hotel of Halfmoon Bay, located on the cliff, where you can enjoy the spectacular view of coastline and beautiful sunsets. There is Halfmoon Bay Golf links right next to the Hotel.

This was an impromptu trip, we were all tired of staying home, last couple of months. Since the beaches were open, we decided a quick picnic and sunset watch trip. Beach is just 40 mins from where I live.
Regarding Camera, I used Nikon D850, First shot was hand held, with little higher ISO. Remaining shots of sunset were taken on a tripod. Pictures were post processed in Lightroom.
Thank you for your response. It is a great idea to go somewhere and stay a bit far from home. I also like to take sunrise or sunset photos. I want to share a sunrise photo, which I took on Vlieland Island in Netherlands.
