Looks like you are missing the word “online” from the website of I/O. In any case last year it was amazing, even if online. Have you seen it in 2021?

Google is actually planning to have a mixed (in person and online) event in October, Geo for Good 2022 . Last year I was one of the speakers, and I am actually thinking about to join online also this year.
Organising an in person event require a huge effort, and actually there is not the possibility to say that in October everyone will be able to travel, or simply to have a Visa. The result could be the possibility to travel to USA only from some country, and not for others. Quite unfair, don’t you agree? That’s why I don’t think we will have Connect Live in California this year. But I will be happy to be wrong
