Cafés in a Park Episode 3-The Beautiful Peepal Cafe

Peepal cafe is tucked inside of the Siri Fort Sports complex, August Kranti Marg. Amidst greenery, it offers a soothing & relaxing vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. Outside seating is nice wherein you can soak in the greenery & bask under the sun. Food can be expensive

Cafe opens at 6 AM. Food is average but staff is nice & friendly. Ambience is good. Relaxing atmosphere. They have healthier food options on menu like a paneer stuffed ragi chilla that we tried. Was nice. Uttapam was average served with chutneys and no sambhar.

Interestingly, the complex management charges Rs 100 per head to dine in the cafe, which we were not happy with as were many other customers and a feedback was given. Not sure if they have removed those charges now.

There’s ample parking space inside the sports complex.

Nearest metro station - Hauz Khas metro station. Take an auto rickshaw to Siri fort institutional area, Siri fort sports complex.

Wow this cafe looks great with inviting ambience. My first question was if it was member only as using the Siri Fort Sports complex is a member only place. But after reading through your post and seeing they charge 100 per person just for entering the cafe answered my question. Will try to visit this place soon. Great post @Shalz

@Ssiddharth2000 non members can visit and we did give a feedback on the charges. As it is you pay for the restaurant bill. Not sure what’s the situation now. It’s a nice spot though ..there’s so much to explore in the vicinity

That 100 bucks is like a charge for non members, it sounds really ridiculous though. Hope they have changed it now. Thank you @Shalz
