Caacupé es una ciudad de cordillera, donde esta la Cátedral , de la Virgen de Caacupé…esta en Guaraní, nuestro idioma autóctono…y significa detrás de las Yerbas…Antes el país era yerbatero por excelencia…hablo de la época de la colonia… Paraguay fue colonia de España y nos independizamos el 14 y 15 de mayo del año 1811
Caacupé es una linda ciudad , muy turística con serranías y arroyos cristalinos , y solo dista a 60 km de la Capital Asunción
