Same here, first thing that popped into my head,

All in all @TerryPG , you’re just another brick in the wall :joy:

Super idea @AdamGT & congratulations to all the bricks filled thus far :+1:

Yes @palmad1 most likely that’s the reason so you will find out in a week or so when the August leaderboards are posted.

Great to hear that your Brick on the Wall is working as expected @TerryPG and I’m pleased that you also like this idea.

Oh it was a BIG hit and a favorite of mine. Of course in the case of young Pink, whom the song is about, he builds a metaphorical wall around himself as a defense against his traumatic life experiences. For each bad experience he adds another brick on the wall. A little different in our case as the bricks are meant to represent a focal point of the key areas of Maps, Connect and the Leaderboards that we participate in. Each time a Local Guide joins the project he/she gets a brick and we have yet another brick on the wall. Our wall can have thousands and thousands of bricks and at any one time 100 of them will be displayed in a 10 x 10 grid. It’s a fun way of showcasing our contributions as Local Guides.

Thank you so much for your kind words of appreciation @LuisMGonzalez and I’m so happy that your loving this idea. Make sure that you check all links in a close-up view of your brick on the Wall.

And that’s the trouble that I’ve been having since starting this project a month ago now, Pink Floyd’s Another brick on the wall has been that proverbial earworm stuck on repeat in my head LOL. But I do love the song.

Exactly. We’re all just another brick on the “wall” of Local Guides!

Thank you @Peadar, I’m pleased that you like it. By the way, have you claimed your brick on the wall? If not head on over to where the magic starts. It’s simple to do  As you can see from this post, the inaugural section, that is the first 100 bricks on the wall are being quickly claimed

I’ve tested your brick on the wall @MarkAuchincloss and it all worked perfectly for me and it seems no one else is reporting this issue so I suggest you try restarting your phone. Let’s see if we can diagnose the problem. BTW what kind of phone is it?

Well done @Sophia_Cambodia and if you’ve followed the steps mentioned you will have joined the inaugural wall and you’ll see this in the next posting of the wall.

Hey everyone!

Isn’t it fun how we can see how many times someone has clicked on our own brick. The only problem with this is that it makes the brickwork look a bit wonky LOL.

There is a simple solution to this. Can anyone think of what that solution might be?
