Some Buddhist pray sacred “Mantras”,some count " Bodhichitta Mala" , some prostrate like this walking clockwise around the 6th century "Boudhanath " stupa. Different way of devotion for social Buddhists.

Here is Boudhanath stupa,the world cultural historical heritage site.only few devotees devote like this by prostating.Mostly devote as I mentioned.
