Feature Request: Bring back the classic Level Progress Badges or visual incentives
Hi Team,
As a Level 7 Local Guide, I have been contributing to Google Maps for a long time. I wanted to share some feedback regarding the recent badge and logo updates.
Honestly, the old badges felt much more premium and prestigious. The classic designs clearly reflected our progress and milestone achievements. The new minimal style lacks that visual reward and aesthetic prestige, which takes away a huge part of the motivation to keep exploring and contributing.
I highly suggest bringing back the classic design elements or giving users the option to choose their badge style. Having a visual icon that truly reflects our dedication would highly motivate the community again.
Thank you!
