Usuma Lower Dam located in Ushafa Bwari Area Council Abuja few kilometers from the metropolis. Its a great place for hikers, family picnics, friends hangouts, tourist attraction with a beautiful lake view and abundance of nature that will leave you in awe.

Thanks for sharing your lovely photos. If you notice, I’ve resized them to make them stand out even more. The Dam looks really cool and relaxing like you said. Do you often go there? Are there kayaks you can take? I guess it’s not possible to swim inside?
Most Dams are not allowing swimming if I remember. It’s a great place to go outside the city and not too far either.

Yes it is! The cool feeling is wonderful and refreshing for the mind. They don’t allow swimming only boat ride. I go there occasionally with my hiker buddies coz it’s a bit far from town. @DanniS thanks a lot
Thanks alot, not so much water activity, Boat rides only @AdamGT hikers do go there to hike, the lake side is also good for picnics, get-together and other fun activities.
