Machan restaurant is a new addition for food lovers in Dhaka city. This restaurant basically serves kebab items to the foodies. Apart from kebab segment the restaurant provides a buffet breakfast offer in every Friday and Saturday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. I have gone there to try the breakfast buffet in 12th February, 2022. The restaurant is located besides of Gulshan lake drive road and the surrounding area was so calm and quiet I have found.
First of all, Machan is beautifully decorated with bamboo sticks and a relaxing ambience has been created in inside of the restaurant. The restaurant can accommodate near about 70 guests at a time. Despite of hearing some bad food reviews I personally was a bit confused when I decided to taste their foods which ultimately changed completely. They served 16++ breakfast items and 80% of the food was good and tasty. They have separate egg station too.
My personal suggestion is try their ‘Surut Chicken’, ‘Chicken Lotpoti’, ‘mixed vegetables’, ‘beef payaa’ and ‘kochi Luchi’.
Khichuri and polao I have found a bit stale and less tasty which I am not recommending.
The buffet price was (BDT395+10% vat). The buffet offer doesn’t include any drinks or even mineral water which was disappointing. Regarding the price and taste of items I think this is a worthy option for the food lovers. Last but not the least washrooms were clean I have found and the staff behavior was also good.
