Bombay Rocks, St Kilda VIC

Further on from my recent post on LG Connect re this business, my Google Maps updated review told that it has been one year since the first visit. Time flies, even though I said I would be back! Too much life happening interfering with LG work! :waving_hand::nerd_face:
It’s under new management, and the owners are Indians. And they are aiming to increase their Maps rating from the current 4.4. I think they will do it if the dish I had was a good example of the quality they are producing.
Paneer Makhani: Cottage cheese cubes simmered in a creamy black lentils makhani sauce, spice level one chilli, so just right for my mild-loving palate. Accompanied by a Raita made from yogurt, cucumber and topped with crispy chickpea flour balls adding a wonderful crunch. Of course, one needed some Butter Naan to sweep up the makhani sauce. Totally delicious and recommended.
Whilst chatting with Rahul, the chef and co-owner, I learned of his philanthropic activities in India (providing feminine hygiene products to girl schools) and locally catering free meals in an outer suburb of Melbourne. Unfortunately, these details are irrelevant for Maps, more’s the pity.
Below is one of the images I posted with my updated review.
