From Brussels, you reach Hallerbos within 15 minutes drive. A big forest, km of beautiful promenades. And above all, from mid April till beginning of May, blooming of purple bluebells. A real wonder to discover and admire at your own walking rythm. Some guards are keeping an eye on the visitors, to ensure they walk the foothpath and not in the undergrowth, they are not picking flowers and they don’t leave any waste.Try to avoid the week-ends during blooming season : too much crowd and no parking place within 3 km. If possible ride a motorbike, or a bike : bikes (not motor-) are allowed on most trails
