Biryani at Paradise Biryani Pointe #CommunityFoodFightChallenge

Link to Restaurant on Google Maps

There are multiple locations of Paradise Biryani Pointe in San Francisco Bay area, Santa Clara, CA location is closest to my home. I have visited here multiple times. Due to Covid-19 they only offer Takeout or delivery. This place is famous for Biryani as the name of the restaurants suggests.

They serve multiple varieties of Biryanis, Vegetable, Egg, Goat, Chicken and boneless chicken Biryani. My favorite dish is ‘Boneless Chicken Biryani’.

Picture above is from last week, when we did takeout of Boneless Chicken Biryani and Vegetable Biryani.

Even in the takeout box you can see the layers (This is how biryani is prepared), Fried Onions, Rice layer, Chicken and rice layer. Chicken is tender and spicy. This is one of the best Biryanis I had in SF Bay area,

Here is shot of front of the restaurant.

Here is a shot from last year, this is chicken 65, which is also pretty good here.

Shots of Some Naan and curries, this shot is also from last year, just to show other items on the menu.

@jayasimha78 I live in Fremont and there’s a Biryani Pointe nearby! It looks like the same chain right? The overall reviews isn’t that great, but your photos looks so good. I think I’ll try it tomorrow. Hoping they have mataar paneer (my favorite) :slightly_smiling_face:

@jayasimha78 Looks great! And yeah, your food photos are top notch!

What is chicken 65? And are fish curries any popular? I love fish curries but it’s like nobody ever orders them!

Looking forward to your next Food Fight post … hey, it’s the weekend… go grab some takeaways and support the local restaurants!!

@AdrianLunsong Thank You! Chicken 65 is a popular street food, essentially deep fried chicken of course spicy. Goes well with cold beer.

@iyudhi Yes it is same chain. I was surprised to see a 3.7 rating :). Food is spicy, their Briyanis are the best. Worthwhile trying it. In Santa Clara now they only offer takeout & Delivery. I presume same thing in Fremont location.

@jayasimha78 I learned not to trust reviews 100%. Sometimes a bit of peek into the review section actually provides better insight on how the quality of the food is :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes takeout only, especially starting today when the Alameda county is going into lockdown for one month. I believe it’s also the same case for Santa Clara county.
