Maharana Pratap’s Birth place, Kumbhalgarh Fort, Kumbhalgarh Rajasthan India.
Kumbhalgarh Fort trip was quite exciting, as it’s a significant historical and cultural heritage, now a famous World Heritage Site. Great warrior Maharana Pratap was born in this Fort. Birth place is a protected monument, and great attraction among the Patriots and history buffs.
Maharani Jayavanta Bai who was the first wife of Maharana Udai Singh II, of Mewar and daughter of Akheraj Songara who belonged to Jalore, gave birth to Pratap Singh on 9th May fifteen hundred forty AD. The world knows the name of Maharana Pratap.
This monument is not a building that is very grand though it’s a part of the grand palace. Rather a simple chamber roof is having a hemispherical dome and a courtyard surrounded by walls with it. To access this chamber where Maharana Pratap was born first visitors have to access this courtyard via steps.
This fact was not known to me, so I was very much excited by gathering such authentic historical information. He was a great warrior, specializes in guerrilla warfare, a heroic personality never accepted the lordship or suzerainty of Mughals. Haldi Ghati battle though he lost but he moved in jungles and could regain his kingdom later. He was one of great hero, whose statues sitting on the back of his favourite horse Chetak can be seen on major Circles or Road junctions of almost all cities.

wow! how do you manage to do this? To know so much of history about these places? Do you write it down during your guided tours or have a guided tour before visiting @rizbab28

Your words are multi dimensional, offering an opportunity and to express myself better. Your curious questions are interesting for which I am always grateful to you. Historical, cultural, ancient monuments are very favourite to me. A lot of information are obtained through official guides, but still not enough for me. Then I get to know other facts with the help of the people of the Department of Archeology and museums if located at site are also very helpful. My only effort is to understand the art skills and culture dedicated to humanity at that time, and same I love to share to the community.
