Blossom Headed Parakeet / ফুল মাথা টিয়া
The blossom-headed parakeet (Psittacula roseata) is a resident breeder in eastern Bangladesh, and can also be found in Bhutan, Northeast India, Nepal, and Southeast Asia. It lives in open forests and forest edges in lowlands and foothills, and in protected areas, it can also be found in farm edges and rural villages.
The blossom-headed parakeet is a small, green parakeet with a plum-red head and lime-green body. Females are duller than males, with gray heads and variable yellow collars. Immature birds have green heads. The blossom-headed parakeet is a gregarious and noisy bird with various raucous calls. It is a frugivore, which eats mostly raw fruits and succulent fruit-like produce from plants.

Which camera & lens do you use for bird watching?
Usually I use a 600 mm lens Sony camera…

@TravellerG I am sorry dear you might miss my comment. Your shot is just awesome. I always like pheasant and this Golden Pheasant is found captive in Bangladesh. I could shoot a Khalij Pheasant pair while waiting more than 7/8 hours. Please share your album of wildlife, I would like to see your collection.
