Bird Island and northern shores of Lake St Lucia in the iSimangaliso wetland Park, KZN, South Africa are trully fantastic birding spots.

This very special piece of property is on a peninsula in the northern reaches of Lake St. Lucia and two rivers enter lake St. Lucia here. On the east is the Mkuze river and on the west is the Hluhluwe River. Iu
To the south west we have False bay, and to the whole eastern side running from north east All the way to the south we have the main waters of Lake St Lucia. Due south is another peninsula, and the straight between thes 2 peninsulas is called " #HellsGate "
The fauna and flora here on the south eastern edge of the Nibela Peninsula is rather unique with a few endimic species. The #Butterflys here are also quite a thing.
So if you know of folks who have an interest in the affairs of lake St Lucia or Kwa Nibela tell them about google goog and ask them to search there using the visual pins that local guides have dropped showing tourism hot spots, birding locations, accommodation, and other toursm attractions
We need to collectively promote visual searching on Google Maps where we have droppedu our pins, shared our pics and told our stories to those who venture into our physical turf.
