Lake Annette is an Alpine Kettle Lake - created from the retreat of the ice during the ice age. It is located in Jasper National Park, Canada. Visitor can drive or bike from Jasper Townsite going to lake Annette. Sightseeing trails along its shores are wheelchair and baby stroller friendly. There are no cafes or restaurants around the lake, the closest would be the restaurants,bars and cafe in the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Resort which is like 35 minutes walk through the trails.
The beautiful, peaceful and not crowded area in Lake Annette boasts a spectacular background of the mountaiins, scenic landscape, stunnning scenery and amazing colors of the water.
It has a sandy beach and its large grassy area has picnic tables, barbecue grills, benches along the shores to relax, kids playground and some wildlife sightings. It has a spacious parking area too.
If you like a relaxing place where there is no crowd even in the summertime, Lake Annette is the best place to go… You get to enjoy the lake and swim too because it has a sandy bottom and sandy shores.
