Bhadra Wild Life Sanctuary which is located behind Ranganathaswamy Temple, Tarikere, Lakkavalli, Karnataka is very nice & clean. Forest department staff is very friendly and supportive. Visiting this place early morning is best time. Lucky persons will come across various animals like Tiger, Elephant, Bison, Deer, Peacock, Fox. It is good to maintain silence during the trip otherwise we do not have chance to see the wild animals. Bhadra dam back water which is transparent & clean adds beauty to sanctuary. It almost takes 3 to 4 hours trip, mean time we can have a small break at Sukhalhatti Rest house which was constructed during 1907. It is not advised to get down from the trip vehicle. Please ensure not to spoil the sanctuary environment by throwing waste / garbage. I have uploaded few snaps of my trip.
