Google Maps recently added a new feature that will make navigation perform better when the GPS signal is lost.
A network of bluetooth beacons in tunnels will allow your device to know more precisely where you are while driving under ground.
You need to activate this setting:
As you can see I turned it on. But I have no idea if the beacons have been added to tunnels here in Denmark.
And generally I don’t see much problems in tunnels, so I will likely deactivate it to preserve battery and privacy.
