I am 24-year old who has always loved and worshipped food. Ever since I started watching western food TV shows, I fell in love with a dish called Steak. For someone like me whose from the southern part of India, steak is very rare to find in the normal restaurant. You will have to go to a 5star hotel to get a steak.
Recently I got a well-paying job which opened doors that were previously shut. My quest for the best steak in Chennai started. I tried different steaks from various restaurants. It was either bland and or not tasting good. I don’t want to name the restaurants that were bad. I lost hope and thought to myself that maybe this is how steak would taste.
Fast forward few months, I went to Phoenix mall (Chennai, India) for shopping. That is when I saw this poster outside the restaurant with steak on it. Wire Room is the name of the restaurant. I went in and noticed the ambiance. It was so rich and dynamic. Took a corner sofa seat, glancing through the menu.
Found steaks on the 4th page. Ordered one “Rib eye steak” and T-bone steak", it was 15 long minutes until the steaks arrived. The first Impression it looked like any other steak from other restaurants.
The first bite is where I fell in love, I knew the quest for the best steak is a success at least for now. It was this taste that I imagined all along my childhood when I used to watch the shows. After this Wire Room became my regular routine. Steaks were priced around 750 to 900 INR. If you ever visit Chennai try a steak from this place it is “bone lickin good”. Attaching pictures.
