I am John from Sydney. I have recently joined as a ‘Local Guide’ on Google map and fortunate enough to become the “Local Guide – Level 6” in less than one year. My photos have got a view of more than 1.8 million within this short period of time. This gives me encouragement to contribute more & more.
I sincerely feel that Google map is wonderful platform (or) a tool to bring up the hidden gems of beautiful places & attractions on earth to the local people or the tourists who are trying to explore new places and looking for naturally beautiful attractions other than the usual landmarks or familiar tourist attractions such as harbor bridge or opera house in Sydney.
I am travelling a lot within Australia on official trips or personal and getting into remote locations & country sides. I am using these opportunities to explore new and hidden attractions and bring them up to the people through Google map.
I am proud to be a local guide through which I am sure I could add more value to the map to make it more familiar around the world and to help people to know more about new places and lovely natural attractions.
