In last two years, a lot of coffee shops started their journey in Dhaka. It can be very confusing because people have different preference for coffees. While some people like really strong coffee, some like rich creamy flavor, some like mild flavor. So, These are some favorite coffee shops of mine according to different flavor profile in no particular order.
- Butlers Chocolate Cafe

This place serves rich and strong coffee. While the price is a bit higher than others, the coffee is really good. Not to mention, they sell amazing chocolates too!
- Gloria Jeans Coffees

This place serves moderately strong good coffee. Their foods are pricier than the quality the serve according to me.
- North End Coffee Roasters

Price : 130 - 365 BDT
If you like light coffee or flavored drinks with hint of coffee, this is the best place for you. Given that, the environment is really good with a bookworm center.

They serve light to moderate coffees, but this place has amazing sandwiches and desserts.
- Second Cup Coffee Company

This place serves rich creamy coffees and amazing desserts. If you like frothy dense coffees, then you will love this place.
- Nerdy Bean Coffee Haus
Location : Nerdy Bean Coffee Haus, Dhanmondi
Another place for light to moderate coffee. Great for hangout with friends.
- The Monarchy Coffee
Location : The Monarchy Coffee, Banani
Price : 170 - 450++ BDT
Though their pricing seems a bit higher than the quality, their coffees are really good; they have a good espresso flavor which I liked a lot.
