When you move to a new place, the key things to locate are not the post office or gas station; it is the best restaurants and bars in the area to hang out. My favorite place is East Branch because their consistently great food and ever changing menu and solid brews. A variety of meal options with an option for everyone from vegan to meat-itarian make it a great option for all. They also dabble in ramen and grain bowls straying from the classic burger or brisket (as for the latter both of which are tasty).
For me, the grain bowl has been my fav so far, though anything with brisket on it is a close second (cause the brisket is BOMB.) The beers…oh the beers! Personally I enjoy the range of beers with my favorite being, Alluvium and Der Bach. Alluvium is an IPA and Der Bach is a Kölsch, refreshing and light. Personally I need to branch out from my go-to’s, any suggestions?
