Assalamualaikum. Hello , my name is Nurjanah Laila. I am from Indonesia. I live in Jakarta. I am level 7 local guide.
I want to share my experience when i travelled to Jogja two years ago.
I went to Jogja by train. With my friends at school and my headmaster. We are teachers of the elementary school in Jakarta.
The first day, we went to Borobudur temple. On the second day , i went to Beringharjo market at Jogjakarta. I bought batik.
If you want to buy batik, Beringharjo is the best place because the batik collection is complete. Starting from batik cloth and ready-made clothes, cotton to silk materials, and prices of tens of thousands to almost a million are available in this market. The collection of batik cloth is found in the north west part of the market stall. Meanwhile, batik clothing collections are found in almost all western markets. In addition to batik clothes, the western market stall also offers surjan clothes, blangkon, and woven and batik sarongs. Sandals and bags that are sold at low prices can be found around the escalator of the western market. I was happy with my journey. Thanks for your attention. See you at the other story.
