Beer that goes well with vanilla ice cream/

For Beer Lovers.

What do you eat with beer?
Salad?
French fries?
Pizza?

A luxury hotel in Fukuoka City, where I live, makes a craft beer that goes great with vanilla ice cream.

Okura brewery

Beer restaurant located on the basement floor of Hotel Okura Fukuoka.

Hotel Okura operates in various places in Japan, but only Fukuoka has a brewery.
This beer restaurant is open to everyone.

The brewery usually makes four kinds of beers, and one beer is made only for a limited time.

This unique black beer has a strong flavor and aroma reminiscent of coffee.
The name of the beer is “Daicoku".

The staff recommends pairing it with vanilla ice cream.

This restaurant also offers vanilla ice cream.
The vanilla ice cream is served at a hardness that is easy to share with a spoon.

When you drink the beer with a sip of ice cream, you will be amazed.

The strong taste transforms into a mellow and soft mouthfeel.
You will be surprised at this change!

This is a place that even the locals don’t go to often because they mistake it for upscale.
The price is more reasonable than expected.
It is a recommended place to enjoy a night out in Fukuoka.

https://maps.app.goo.gl/gMLmDSW8tWDTugdd9

Hey @yamamo_cchi ,

This combination reminds me of summer. Despite being unusual for most people, I don’t think it’s that strange to have a beer with ice-cream. It’s the perfect refreshment to have by the seaside, under the sun. :slightly_smiling_face:

The restaurant looks cozy and perfect for bigger groups of friends. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for your comment.
First drink the “daikoku” as it is.
Then immediately drink the “daikoku” with ice cream included!
It is a beer with some surprises.

This restaurant treats you with the hospitality of a luxury hotel. You can spend a wonderful time with your friends.
Many customers come to the restaurant in groups!

If you have a chance to come to Japan, this is the place to be.
