অসাধারন এক জায়গা। বরফে মোড়া লেক আর পাহাড় এত সুন্দর যা কথায় বলে বোঝানো যাবে না। Ropeway আর Yak এর ব্যবস্থা আছে যা চড়ে আপনি ঐ এলাকা পুরো ঘুরে দেখতে পারেন। করোনা ভাইরাস মিটে গেলে আপনি একবার ঘুরে আসতে পারেন। বিস্বাস করুন আপনার অবশ্যই খুব ভালো লাগবে।

How to reach the place? Do we need any special permission to go there? Can we travel with our own vehicle?

Yes, you can travel with your own vehicle but you need a road permit. Otherwise, from NJPrail station you can hire a vehicle to Gangtok. @C_T

Having been to a number of high altitude lakes in the Himalaya, I know I would like visitingTsongmo Lake @sinharonit7 so thank you for sharing. What is the altitude of the lake?

Delighted with your interest in the Tsomgo (or Tsongmo or Changu) Lake lake @AdamGT .
The altitude is 3.75 km from MSL.
Prior permission is a must to reach there.
In addition to that, one can’t miss another attraction, the Nathula, a prominent mountain pass in the Himalayas.
However, visiting these places may be out of bounds for many more days to come, not only for the pandemic but also for security reasons.

Thanks for your detailed reply @C_T . Having crossed a number of passes like the notorious Thorong La pass, I must read more about the Nathula pass. What are the security issues that you mention, no doubt Indo-China related?
