After my visit to Kissar Kesar at Lethirpora which I mentioned in my last episode 7. Beauty of Kashmir - Episode 7 - Visit to Famous Saffron Shop in Kashmir and is on the way to Pahalgam, we reached at our at Hotel The Regency. The day after, we headed to Baisaran Valley, also known as the “Mini Switzerland of India”. Baisaran Valley is a picturesque valley located in the Jammu and Kashmir region of India. The valley is situated at an altitude of 2,500m above sea level and is surrounded by majestic snow-covered mountains, lush green meadows and fields, crystal-clear lakes and rivers, and an abundance of flora and fauna. My experience in Baisaran Valley was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the lap of the Himalayas, this valley is a sight to behold. I visited during the summer months and was mesmerized by the lush green meadows, snow-capped mountains, and the crisp air. After reaching at Parking place at Pahalgam we moved to hire a horse which is at Horse Riding and Taxi Stand at Pahalgam. After hiring the Horse we headed towards Baisaran Valley.

The ride itself was a smooth one, and my horse was well-trained and responsive to my commands. The experience of riding a horse through the valley was something I will never forget. I felt like I was soaring through the valley, with the cool breeze in my hair and the sun on my face. It was an amazing feeling of freedom and adventure. I felt like I had stepped into a fairytale.

The trek to Baisaran Valley was an adventure in itself, with a few steep inclines and some narrow paths. The view from the top of the mountains was breath-taking. The sun peeked through the clouds and glistened off the snow-capped peaks. After around 40 mins of horse riding we reached the Baisaran valley and I felt like I was on top of the world!

The valley is home to an array of wildlife, including rare species such as the Himalayan Tahr, Musk Deer, Red Fox, and Snow Leopard. A variety of migratory birds also visit the valley, making it a popular spot for birdwatchers. It is also an important habitat for the endangered Himalayan brown bear.

Thank you so much @TravellerG sir for your praising words. I am glad you liked it. I love to take photos of nature and i really enjoy that.

The dress code for Kashmir visit in summer as i visited in summer must be warm cloths. As the temperature there in May month is around 20-25 deg in a day and 10-15 deg. So you must have a warm cloths. My in laws family did not brought warm cloths or simple sweater. They had to buy it from Kashmir. They thought the weather there would be normal but it was bit chilly at Night and pleasant at day. But as per my experience weather of Kashmi is dynamic and can change any time. So better to keep warm cloths with you.

Thank you so much for sir and Madam for taking out time to read my post and i am happy that you both enjoy the post. Waiting for the Kashmir photos captured by you in near future.

Extremely thankful for your very helpful tips and guidance, my dear @Rohan10 .

Surely we shall carry warm clothes.

“… weather of Kashmi is dynamic and can change any time…”

This is the case in most of the high altitude areas.

I have experienced this many foreign countries also.

I shall update the trip plans before this weekend.

Thanks for all your valuable support.

Greetings…
