Beauty of Kashmir - Episode 12 - River Rafting and Visit to Apple Farm.

The beauty of Kashmir was truly captivating. To end my trip, I decided to go river rafting in the pristine waters of the Jhelum River at Rafting Point. The thrill of the rapids and the stunning views of the snow-capped mountains were simply breath-taking. I could not capture the photo while rafting as it was not allowed and extra charges were there to shoot your video.

After the thrilling experience of river rafting, we checked out from hotel and heading towards Srinagar Airport. We visited the famous Apple Farm in the lower reaches of the valley which is on the way to Airport. The sight of the sprawling orchards filled with ripe apples was simply mesmerizing. I couldn’t help but enjoy the crisp, sweet smell of the apples as I strolled through the farm. The beauty of Kashmir has left an indelible mark on my memory. I will cherish the memories of this magical place for the rest of my life.

The end of my Kashmir trip was spent by river rafting and visiting the Apple Farm. I had heard so much about the beauty of Kashmir, and the apple farm was definitely one of its highlights. Apple farming is an important part of Kashmir’s economy and culture. The farm was located at the foothills of the Himalayas, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush green valleys. The apple trees were in full bloom, and the air was filled with the sweet smell of apples.

The farm was divided into sections, with each section growing different varieties of apples. I got the chance to pick and taste some of the different varieties. I was amazed at the variety of apples available. There were green apples. I also got to try some of the freshly-pressed apple juice, which was incredibly refreshing.

The beauty of the apple farm was breath-taking. The sun was shining and the air was crisp and clean. The view of the snow-capped mountains was beyond words. I could have easily spent an entire day just admiring the beauty of this place. At the end of the day, I realized that Kashmir was much more than just a beautiful place; it was a place filled with love, peace and returned to Mumbai with lots of lovable memories.

Hello very dear @Rohan10 !

As rightly mentioned by our dear @AjitThite Ji, this is a good combination of Apples and Kayak!

Honestly, I’m feeling sad that the series has ended. Many a days I used to share Rohan’s post with my wife, as we already planned to visit - unfortunately, due to the inconvenience of one family out of three, we postponed for a later date.

As usual all the photos are really of excellent quality, though the total numbers are less.

Also imagining the calm return journey from Kashmir.

I can imagine the amount of efforts you have taken to conceive, compile and successfully publish it - special Congratulations.

Yes, Ajit Ji, surely wait for his next post…

Warm regards

Excellent round up of what was a great series @Rohan10

It is surprising to see green apples on the tree for the first time.

I wonder when they turn red

Thank you so much @TusharSuradkar for your kind words. I asked the owner of the farm that he said apple would get red in 2 months. Apple juice was really refreshing. Thank you again Buddy.
