Wow what a fantastic place. I live near the mountains here and it looks a lot like this place in the photos. I honestly did not know that snows in India.
From what I saw in another post of yours, you seem to go to this place kind of often. Do you live near there?

The beauty of India is in its diversity, and honestly if you didn’t mention the location of the photos I would have never guessed the place.
Could you tell us a bit more about the place picture? Is it a decoration of a window made of wood?

Thank you @BorrisS @ Yes this place is called Pahalgam and itz situated in South of Kashmir In District Anantnag, Pahalgam is very famous tourist attraction in KASHMIR.IN Pahalgam you can see some of most amazing places like,Aru Valley Bataab Valley, Chandanwari and Baisaran Called Mini Switzerland
Wooden frame is made of walnut wood and it represent the art of Kashmir.its very rare and very expensive.

Wah kia baat hai apke des ki 
. I have seen some parts like Muzafarabad & Dheerkot but haven’t seen Neelam valley which I may plan to visit next year. Which water body is seen in the picture with snow on it’s banks? I guess a river? Is it a tributary of tributary of river Jhelum? Can you share a photo of shikara someday? Thanks for sharing this amazing place with us

Thank you for the explanations. As far as the Mini Switzerland is concerned, there is a place even in Morocco which is called that way because of its nature and buildings. The name of the city is Ifran.

Thankyou for your reply! This water is coming form Kohalai Glacier. And yes you are right it goes into river Jehlim only . In Pahalgam we call this River Lidder. Its very famous for Rafting during summers.
