I’m not sure if you are a BBQ lover, but if so, try Noto beef in Kanazawa, Japan. I’m from Kobe that is famous for Kobe beef, but here I go! I tried this beef at a restaurant called Nikusho Jade that has many good reviews.
When I came here, it was on “Beef Day”. That means some lunch sets were 400-700 yen off! Lucky me 
And of course, I tried one of them at a special discount (it was 2,640 yen).
Here are more dishes/lunch sets. You might not understand this but they have sirloin lunch, some rare parts of cows, beef tongue, etc. For lunch sets, it comes with soup and salad.
What I order was a BBQ lunch with four parts: misuji (a rare part coming from behind the scapula), fillet, rump, and sagari (a rare part of the diaphragm on the lumbar vertebrae). All the parts were delicious, but I really like the misuji and the fillet which are tenderer, I think 
If you have a chance to visit Kanazawa, try Noto beef. or you should visit Kobe lol
