Palace, an archaeological palace of great splendor and beauty located in the heart of Heliopolis in Cairo and on Al-Orouba Street specifically on the main road leading to Cairo International Airport The palace was founded by Edward Louis Joseph Empain after he cames from India to Egypt. He was a Belgian businessman and designed by a French architect named Alexandre Marcel who was born in Belgium. The palace was decorated by Georges-Louis Claude. Inspired by the Hindu temple of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, it was built between 1907 and 1911, in reinforced concrete The palace is considered a unique architectural masterpiece As the palace was renovated and reopened in August 2020 Local guides Egypt team decided to visit the palace on 12 September to discover it’s beauty and let you know more about this historical place We will begin our visit at 11 AM for about 2 hours.
