A majestic Cathedral! It reminds me St.George’s Cathedral in Lviv, Ukraine, you can see it be the link https://goo.gl/maps/mfAuZ6mEWFWJt6Pt6

@OlgaKlimchik I never visit Ukraine. The last year I was very near: in the north of Romania (Maramureş)

@pivari Lviv is worth to be visited, but of course it’s impossible to visit all the interesting places all over the world, so everybody chooses what he likes.

@OlgaKlimchik If I can I like to use only car to go to vacation. It’s the best way to try to understand every state you pass through. It’s not simple. You need time and it’s not cheap.

Hi @pivari ,

Thank you for showing us another pearl from the south of Italy. I have never had the chance to visit Lecce, but I only received really good impressions so far. Many foreigners fell in love with Puglia and I don’t know if you are a football fan, but Manuel Neuer, the goalkeeper of German National team, got married there. If you have to suggest three spots that deserved to be visit in Lecce or the are nearby which one will you choose and why?

@Sorbe I like to travel by car. I visited a lot of locations in Puglia. This time my first daughter had a fencing competition at Lecce. It was a good reason to visit another time Lecce.
Lecce is wonderful and around Lecce there are a lot of wonderful location where to spend holidays vacations: Otranto, Gallipoli, Porto Cesareo, Santa Maria di Leuca. The see is like a swimming pool!
I prefer Sicily but after Sicily, in the south of Italy Puglia and Campania are lovely!

Hey @pivari ,

Thank you for your reply. It’s one part of Italy that I have to visit, in order to make the comparison between Sicily and Sardinia too. I am planning to go there next year, maybe in September as it shouldn’t be so crowded.

@Sorbe Sardinia is wonderful for the nature. The same Calabria and Abruzzo. In Sardinia go to see dolmen and nuraghi

I have to follow your suggestions @pivari .

I have only had the chance to visit the South part of Sardinia, more precisely Villasimius and never been to the inner or the North part.
