We were heading to Kanha National Park in the month of April 2019 and we decided to have our breakfast at MP Tourism Resort situated at Bargi.
Bargi Left Bank Canal is meant to irrigate the Jabalpur, Rewa,Katni and Narsinghpur Districts of Madhya Pradesh. As this is built chiefly for irrigation from the Bargi Reservoir or Rani Avanti Bai Sagar through two canals left and right. Now it’s a most visited place and is perfect retreat. Bargi Dam is built on the logest river of MP that is Narmada. Reservoir is very large. Canal can be accessed via steps and water is very tasty and cool. It’s having a beautiful surroundings.
After canal the major attraction is Boating point where Speed Boats, Power boats are available. After boating enjoy the meal or coffee with traditional snacks with the panoramic views of reservoir and surroundings. It’s a major attraction among all tourists and located about 20 kms from Jabalpur.
