Bannerughatta Biological Park is located 22 km from Bengaluru, this park is one of the best places to explore wildlife and nature. It is part of Bannerghatta National Park and includes a Zoo, Safari, Butterfly Park, and Rescue Center.
The Safari offers thrilling views of Bengal tigers, rare white tigers, Asiatic lions, elephants, sloth bears, gaurs, and spotted deer in large open enclosures that resemble their natural habitat.
The Zoo is home to more than 1,500 animals including leopards, wild dogs, jackals, hyenas, porcupines, crocodiles, snakes, turtles, and many colorful birds like peacocks, pelicans, storks, hornbills, and parrots.
The Butterfly Park, the first of its kind in India, has over 40+ species of butterflies with a greenhouse, museum, and an audio-visual center that attracts both kids and adults.
