Bangladeshi street food in Malaysia. (Chotpoti and Fuchka)

Nothing can be more popular in Bangladesh than chotpoti and fuchka. Be it winter or summer. dull or bright day, whether you are in a good or bad mood, it is chotpoti and fuchka that makes your day.

Chotpoti & Fuchka are quick street food in Bangladesh. It tastes hot and sour. Chotpoti and Fuchka are one of the dishes that I miss very much from Malaysia. After a long search, I finally found it in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

Chotpoti: A favorite food for the younger generation. This is especially popular in urban areas. It is usually bought in the street shop instead of preparing at home. Most of the time it is made and sold in temporary stores on the side of the road, in parks, parks, colleges, universities, or similar public places.

Ingredients: Dried white peas, Small red potatoes, Tamarind paste, Masala, Chopped boiled egg, Chopped cilantro, Chopped green chili pepper (hot), Chopped tomato, Chopped cucumber (optional), Chopped red onions, Pani puri shell, Red chili powder, Water.

Fuchka: At least everyone likes to eat Fuchka. However, it is a very popular food for women in Bangladesh.

Fuchka look likes Panipuri but it differs from panipuri in content and taste. It uses a mixture of boiled gram and mashed potatoes as the filling and is tangy rather than sweetish while the water is sour and spicy.

Ingredients: Fuchka shell, A little more condensed chotpoti ( The chotpoti daal needs to be very mushy), mixed with all the ingredients mentioned for Chotpoti. Boiled potatoes, Chopped onion, Chopped green chilies, Tamarind water. Mix all the ingredients except tamarind water. Stuff inside the fuchka shell. Serve with tamarind water.
